The quiet man.

A fairly mundane weekend to report today unfortunately. Since it rained for the majority of the weekend, most of the time was spent inside but it was a nice rest after the hectic weekend previous. Managed to get out a little each day for some minor shopping but nothing much. Humidity is starting to really take it's toll, even when it's raining I'm still sweating in the house. I really should be expecting more from you guys this week seeing as how it's the bank holiday weekend over there, but I hear you have been rained out too, so I probably shouldn't hold out much hope!

Thats short and to the point!! We'll let you away with it this once: becasue we are not at work today!! Despite being a long weekend it was quiet here too. Cecilia went furtherst - to Mayo and her extended home there. Seamus and Josh were at the garden festival in the Park while I went as far as Gorey today in a final bike run before the Arctic. Next Monday we should be making our way up the West coast of Norway from Bergen. The poor canary is off again and has laid two more eggs: one each day. Josh has dibs on the first one of this clutch if it hatches!!

So it was raining in Dublin (and NY). Sorry to hear that - Blacksod was beautiful!! Dogs were delighted to be swimming in the Atlantic again and we got to see our new shed (Oops, sorry, Brendan would kill me - Boat House/Art Workshop!!) Carolyn was an Irish Ambassador in France at a music festival - she had a blast - and Richard has finished his 2nd year exams so is planning his Summer holidays, starting with a trip to Ballinskellig with the School and Seamus & Josh next Saturday. Have a good week and weekend.
ps - John - the 'German' thing happened to me once too - I think it self-corrects!

What's all this about German? I wonder if I toggled some setting, or maybe the site got a little broken at some stage. It's English for me anyway... weird.

More birds!? Wow, we should be turning a profit soon enough.

Boat house/art workshop?! Jaysus, that's very fancy altogether! Will it be sound-proofed for musical extravaganzas?

Yeah the Segways are a right laugh, only take a few minutes to get the hang of, then you're off!

I'm not sure if she got the text or not, I'll ask her, but I will tell her that you send your thanks regardless.

The tea break over, the paper read. Now "Andy's Blog"! So - the whole world had a wet weekend - apart from Blacksod ... yea right .... it was still raining there when the Ark landed! Cecilia, you can't say it's not raining just because you're inside. Well done Carolyn - an Ambassador wherever you go.
Yes, Josh and I went to "Bloom"; the Irish Chelsea Flower Show. It was raining all the time but we went prepared with raingear and changes of clothes. Josh thought it all incredibly boring but enjoyed being able to walk straight through the muck while others struggled to stay on hastily laid boardwalks or on the drier-looking mudpiles! Some great gardens and some great interesting looking flowers - just the encouragement I need to drag a few more weeds out of my patch. I have great plans now to turn my garden into an exotic, colourful showcase with a Botanic Gardens look about it. But a bit more weeding first. Josh was THRILLED when I sat down on a low-level laid-back modern looking rocking chair and went straight out over the back. Walking boots up and over my head at a fair pace, eventually coming to a halt with my head breaking my fall against a stall behind the chair. I expected a rush of people over to help my return to grace but when I looked around people had that look on them like they didn't want to get involved in case they burst out laughing! Huh. Stay away from the new type rocking chairs ....
Then over to Palmerstown, to somewhat safer chairs and HUGE new chicks! Sinead has excelled there! If your pet needs beefing up, bring it to Sinead. Watched the Dubs draw in a thrilling match with Meath.
Andrew, you deserved that weekend of rest after your last one!
John and I head East and West this week. John enjoy the Arctic (when did they put an extra c in that word?) - go safely, and Josh and I will sort out Kerry!
Y'all have a nice day!

This German is very annoying. If I log on at another computer its in English but at home its all German and it declares that the oldman hat gesagt and I don't recall doing that at all!!!!!! and when it tells me to 'Melden Sie sich in Ihrem Google-Konto an' I just give up! Spent this evening doing the final packing and getting the bike ready. Just need a #2 cut and I'll be ready for an 06:30 start on Thursday. Forecast is good. Had not thought of it as going East but that is corect. At York we head North. I'll email you a schedule. 3 eggs now!!

"Melden Sie sich in Ihrem Google-Konto an"

I would have thought that was obvious: "Sign in with your Google Account" (guessing)

You know, your Google-Konto.

Sounds like a nasty (yet hilarious) fall you had yourself there seamus, made all the worse by the lack of support. That's hammocks and new-age rocking chairs that are now on the no go list.

Ah, God bless the number 2 haircut, so simple, yet so perfect. Best of look on the adventure! Look forward to the blog! :P

For those wondering; the internet has been ill for the past few days. And instead of redirecting Irish people to Irish default sites, it will default to German sites.

For example, if you go to www.google.com it will redirect to www.google.de and not .ie

Get well soon Internet.
